Absolutely lovely! The whole place smelled great, was super clean, and the decorating was outstanding. The room had everything - ironing board, safe, fridge, comfy bed, lots of outlets and pillows. Huge shower with fancy shower head. Only thing missing was maybe a little desk to make it easier to use my laptop. Nice and quiet. Cool tech to let yourself into the property and the room. I couldn't remember which room I booked, so I tried them all until my code worked. Absolutely recommend!
The Pennington Inn and The Reeds run a great Inn. Very professional! Clean, large rooms, and very quiet. Good Mexican food around the corner behind, and Blake Shelton’s Ole Red across the street! Thanks for a nice weekend get away!
Our room was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. There's even a beautiful Christmas tree! The room is clean and the bathroom is nice and big but the shower floor is extremely slick and the drain cover in the middle of the shower comes off when you step on it and it caused me to fall! There is no one here to talk to about any issues and while it's advertised as a B and B it's only the bedroom and bath, there is no place for breakfast or anywhere to prepare anything! In spite of that I would definitely stay here again! It's right on the main street and there are a few restaurants and bars within walking distance. All in all it was a good trip and we will definitely stay here again!
Our family recently booked all three rooms and attended a concert at Ole Red. This place is amazing. It’s absolutely top of the line. The beds are amazing, the linens are so luxurious and the bath products are just as luxurious. We had the whole place to ourselves and it’s was just fabulous. Super clean too.
The Pennigton was wonderful for my needs. It was very nicely done worth three rooms built in to an old downtown store front. It is walking distance to restaurants and bars. Overall a very pleasant stay. I will be back.
Room was nice with the largest closet I have ever encounter in a Hotel/Inn. :-) Very clean! Only negative would be that it has interior "Barn Doors" for the closet and bathroom and I'm not a fan but that is really just personal preference. I would stay here again for sure!
11/26/23Perfect beautiful little place to stay! Easy check in via text, felt totally safe, and totally spoiled like a princess. Loved the room and bathroom! Their hairdryer was missing (luckily I had mine), and to add to a woman’s liking to make it 100% maybe add a full length mirror and a makeup mirror..that would put the room over the moon! Looking forward to planning another weekend there!
The hotel exceeded our expectations. My better half and I decided to go exploring on a beautiful Sunday afternoon and ended up in Tishamingo. We actually stopped to visit the Mulberry Wine Bar and parked right in front of The Pennington Inn. We peered through windows at the lovely lobby and then visited the website. Needless to say, we decided to stay the night. We stayed in The Blue and absolutely loved our stay. The room was well appointed, the closet was huge and the bathroom was amazing. After last night, The Pennington Inn will be a regular destination for us.
